Brian Laird, assistant commander, Supply Chain Technology/Systems Integration, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), and Capt. David D. Carnal (right), commanding officer, NAVSUP Business Systems Center (BSC), speak with Michael J. Galbraith (center), Department of the Navy Chief Digital Innovation Officer, during a leadership visit to NAVSUP BSC, October 30. During the visit, NAVSUP and NAVSUP BSC leadership provided command overviews and discussed information technology capabilities with Galbraith. NAVSUP BSC provides the Navy with information systems support through the design, development, and maintenance of systems in the functional areas of logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, and accounting and is one of 11 commands under Commander, NAVSUP.
