U.S. Air Force SSgt Sean German, a survival, evasion, resistance, and escape (SERE) specialist with the 66 Training Squadron at Fairchild AFB, WA, pilots a motorboat on a lake to keep line of sight on other SERE specialists during a 7-level certification course on June 23, 2023. This 7-level certification event is conducted by the 66 TRS to ensure that SERE specialists are able to efficiently meet their requirements in an expedient manner – thus allowing them to better their skills and aid in their instructing of students.
