DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (November 1, 2023) Naval Criminal Investigative Service and Joint Theater Forensic Analysis Center personnel practiced forensic analysis with the Djiboutian Coast Guard during an engagement at the Port of Djibouti, Djibouti, Nov. 1, 2023. NCIS and JTFAC are tenants of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, which supports a variety of knowledge exchange events to enhance maritime security and promote U.S.-Djiboutian partnership. Forensic sampling skills enable the Djiboutian Coast Guard to collect evidence to support the prosecution of suspected contamination of territorial waters. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
