Illinois Army National Guard Staff Sgt. J. Manuel Rojas Garcia of the Springfield-based 232nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion was the guest speaker at the Clear Lake Township (Illinois) 23rd Annual Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony on Nov. 5. Garcia told the Veterans and their supporters that they could be "proud of the footprints that you left behind" for Soldiers like him. Wearing the 183rd Fighter Group jacket is Illinois Air National Guard veteran Jim Cribbett, who served with the Springfield-based 183rd Wing for 23 years retiring as the Fire Chief in 1997.
