A Village church patron speaks with Maj. Gen. Robert Harter, commanding general of the 81st Readiness Division. Harter attended a Heroes at Home luncheon hosted by Village church in Blythewood, SC, on Sunday where he was the guest speaker.
The 81st RD HHC first sergeant, 1st. Sgt. Danny Brown, also attended the event in his civilian capacity as Capt. Danny Brown of the Richland County Deputy Sheriff’s department, along with a host of firefighters from the Columbia Fire Department.
This Heroes at Home luncheon was held in honor of Veterans Day.
