David Doyle, commanding general, 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, presents a coin to members of the Heavy Rescue 1971, Fort Carson Fire Department, for their efforts in the derailment operation at Fort Carson, Colorado, Nov. 7, 2023. Heavy Rescue 1971 assisted in the recovery of the derailed equipment which was being moved back to the mountain post after the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, returned from a training rotation at Fort Irwin, California.
