231108-N-TY704-1095 PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 9, 2023) Sailors move cargo with a forklift from Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE-10) to Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during a replenishment-at-sea. Vinson, flagship of Carrier Strike Group ONE, is underway conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet Area of operations. U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
