U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Robert B. Sofge Jr., commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa, exchanges gifts with Brig. Gen. Koly Faye, director general of the Defense Institute of Senegal, during a Key Leaders Engagement in Dakar, Senegal on Nov. 8, 2023. During the visit Sofge met with the Senegalese Navy and the Defense Institute of Senegal, which provided opportunities to discuss and enhance collaborative efforts on various fronts fostering a lasting partnership between the two nations.
