Rear Adm. Abdou Sene, Senegalese chief of Naval staff, exchanges gifts with U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Robert B. Sofge Jr., commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa, during a Key Leaders Engagement in Dakar, Senegal on Nov. 9, 2023. During the visit Sofge met with the Senegalese Navy and the Defense Institute of Senegal, which provided opportunities to discuss and enhance collaborative efforts on various fronts fostering a lasting partnership between the two nations.
