.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Brian W. Cavanaugh, Commanding General, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Commander, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command provides remarks as the featured speaker at the MacArthur Memorial Veterans Day Ceremony, Norfolk, Va, Nov 11, 2023. During the ceremony, Cavanaugh joined U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Joseph D'costa, Deputy Chief of Staff, Strategy, Plans and Policy, Supreme Allied Command Transformation, Norfolk City mayor Dr. Kenneth Cooper Alexander, and U.S. Navy Cdr. (ret.) John Fedorowicz, within the rotunda for laying a memorial wreath and observing a moment of silence during the bugle call "Taps". The annual ceremony, hosted by the City of Norfolk Mayor's Veterans Affairs Commission, is held at the MacArthur Memorial Rotunda to honor all veterans past and present.
