A mock-up of a tactical radar threat generator is set ready for testing by the Range Systems Engineering Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, Sept. 28, 2023. The mock-up is used as a test bench for verifying depot-level repairs on TRTG electronic assemblies which are used on the Southwest Tactical Training Range to provide tactical aircrews with a training radar system that simulates threat radar characteristics that could be encountered on the battlefield.
