Kaiser-class replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203) and the Italian navy Carlo Bergamini-class frigate ITS Virginio Fasan (F 591) conducting a replenishment-at-sea with the Spanish navy Alvaro de Bazan-class frigate SP Mendez Nunez (F 104) waiting on station, Nov. 12, 2023. Normandy is part of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group and is currently operating in the Mediterranean Sea, at the direction of the Secretary of Defense.
