USAG Ansbach Command Team, Col. Aaron Dixon and Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Carbone attended the German Volkstrauertag ceremony with local dignitaries in the city of Ansbach on 19 November 2023. The Volkstrauertag ceremony occurs every year in mid-November, to commemorate the victims of war and their sacrifices, which should never be forgotten.
On this day, the Garrison Command Team will lay down a wreath along with the German Bundeswehr, Reservists, Ansbach Fire Department, and Veterans organizations.
