The Field Artillery Commandant’s Office hosted the MacArthur High School JRTOC program on November 16 at an M119 and M777 howitzer range. The high school students had the opportunity to interact and learn from the Soldiers of the 428th Field Artillery Brigade and Army and Army National Guard Recruiters. This hands-on experience included learning to load the M119 and M777, the importance of safety on the gunline and gaining insight into what it truly means to be a Soldier and Field Artilleryman in the U.S. Army.
