U.S. Marines with the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force construct the last medium girder bridge in United States Marine Corps inventory at the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC), Triangle, Virginia, Oct. 18, 2023. The Marines teamed up with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation and NMMC to construct a monument honoring a past discipline linked to USMC Combat Engineering and to pay tribute to all former "Bridge Marines." The bridge they built connects a nearly two-mile walking path in the memorial gardens outside the NMMC.
