For Murray taking the reins of MEDCoE is a return to San Antonio as he served as the commanding general of Brooke Army Medical Center and deputy market manager of the San Antonio Market prior to his most recent assignment where he served as the commanding general Medical Readiness Command, Europe, command surgeon of U.S. Army Europe-Africa, and director of Defense Health Agency Region-Europe.
