U.S. Marines and Sailors with Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia, I Marine Expeditionary Force, conduct a promotion ceremony for 2nd Lt. Dominic R. Archuleta, the senior watch officer for MRF-SEA, to the rank of 1st Lieutenant aboard the USNS Millinocket, Sulu Sea, Nov. 20, 2023. The Joint High-Speed Vessel USNS Millinocket was assigned to Destroyer Squadron 7 in U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility, providing logistical solutions to the region’s littorals and provided transportation to MRF-SEA Marine from Subic Bay to Palawan. MRF-SEA is a Marine Corps Forces Pacific operational model which involves planned exchanges with subject matter experts, promotes security goals with Allies and partners, and positions I MEF forces west of the International Date Line.
