U.S. Navy and Marine Corps servicemembers supporting Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Rein.), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit refuel a U.S. Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter during a Forward Arming and Refueling Point exercise at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 28, 2023. A FARP extends the capabilities of rotary or fixed wing aircraft to allow rearming and refueling of the aircraft without having to return to a forward operating base.
