Combat medics from the 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, dispatched from a Polish PZL W-3 Sokol helicopter after a successful casualty evacuation simulation during the US - Polish MARS 23 Live Fire Exercise in Toruñ, Poland on December 1, 2023. The joint life fire exercise hosted soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Field Artillery Brigade, and XVIII Airborne Corps from Fort Liberty, North Carolina as well as the Polish Armed Forces.
