Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III meets with personnel assigned to the California Air National Guard 129th Rescue Wing at Moffett Federal Airfield, Calif., Dec. 1, 2023. The wing’smission is to train and prepare to perform its wartime mission of combat search and rescue anywhere in the world.
