To showcase current technologies, provide program overviews, and engage with commercial and defense mission partners, the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) participated in the annual Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) conference in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. DIU personnel engaged with pilot training prototypes that leverage existing commercial capabilities through a program called Pilot Training Transformation (PTT). I/ITSEC is the world's largest modeling and simulation event, and brings together stakeholders from industry, academia, government, military service branches, and allies and partner nations around the world.
