1st Theater Sustainment Command Soldiers from the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command and Department of Defense civilians package newly assembled FIM-92 Stinger Missiles in a stockyard on October 25, 2023 at an undisclosed location in the CENTCOM Area of Operations. Stinger Missiles are a man-portable-air-defense system that incorporates infrared capability to engage its target with exact precision. When fully packaged, these missile cannisters can be loaded onto wheeled vehicles, maritime vessels, or military aircraft to swiftly resupply Soldiers anywhere in the region in support of force protection.
