Brig. Gen. Roger S. Giraud and Command Sgt. Maj. Jesus H. Gonzalez, Medical Readiness Command, Europe, award the winning teams of the competition with the Army Commendation Medal during the Awards Ceremony for the European Best Medic Competition (EBMC) in Grafenwoehr, Germany, Dec. 8, 2023. The EBMC tests the physical fitness, medical skills, and readiness of European theater medics' ability to perform technical tasks to standards of excellence in a broad spectrum of critical individual and team skills during combat operations.
