Marines enter a mess hall aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., where 2nd Marine Logistics Group hosted a prayer breakfast Jan. 17, 2013, in recognition of the impact the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. had on the civil rights movement. Senior leaders to include Brig. Gen. Edward D. Banta, the commanding general of 2nd MLG, and Cmdr. Stephen J. Shaw, the group chaplain of 2nd MLG, spoke about the relation between King's legacy and the Marine Corps' equal opportunity policy.
