A Türkish special operation forces soldier prepares a laser designator to mark targets during a joint terminal attack controller and close air support training exercise with U.S. Special Forces Nov. 16, 2023, near Konya, Türkiye. Designating targets with this equipment allows U.S. and Turkish aircraft to easily identify their marks during the exercise.
