As part of the annual Hahira Mayor’s Motorcade, community members came together to donate to the VA Medical Center and express their gratitude to the veterans who served their country. The annual tradition dates back to 1958 when Governor Ernest Vandiver started a Mayor’s Motorcade providing clothes, glasses, and other essential items to state mental hospitals.
