Cody Wurdelman and Andrew Maltz, natives of Chicago and Pearl River, Calif., and reconnaissance men with Bravo Company, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, don their full face masks before entering the water for a dive training evolution at the 4th Force Reconnaissance Company compound on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 9. The training was part of Exercise Sandfisher 2013, which was held on Marine Corps Base Hawaii from Jan. 7 to 18 to strengthen all participants’ tactics in amphibious procedures and combat diving.
