Students of Noorvik Elementary School play with their gifts donated through the Toys for Tots program and delivered by the U.S. Marines with Detachment Delta Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve in Kotzebue, Alaska, Dec. 11, 2023. Toys for Tots is the combined efforts of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The mission today is the same as it was in 1947: to bring the joy of Christmas to America’s less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Juan Diaz)
