Air Force veteran Thomas Robinson gives his grandson, 2nd Lt. Benjamin Robinson, his first salute Friday at the Idaho State Capitol in Boise, Idaho. Thomas Robinson also gave his son, Brig. Gen. Ryan Robinson, his first salute in the same building in May 1996 upon his commissioning. Brig. Gen. Robinson administrated the oath of commissioning to his son prior to the lieutenant receiving his first salute.
