Ninety-eight cadets from 33 Wisconsin counties graduated the residential phase of the Wisconsin Challenge Academy Dec. 16 at Baraboo High School in Baraboo, Wis. Challenge Academy reshapes the lives of 16-to-18-year-olds at risk of not graduating from high school. It uses a structured, military-style environment and state-certified teachers and counselors to build Cadets’ academic abilities, character, self-confidence, and personal discipline.
