David Roby, assigned to Bastion Company, 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade, participates in a cold load operation, during training for the North and West Africa Response Force (NARF) at Aviano Air Base, Italy on Dec. 18, 2023. With a focus on Africa, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), provides U.S. Africa Command with a joint task force headquarters capability and the NARF, poised to respond to any contingency to protect U.S. persons, facilities and interests.
