ANSBACH, Germany (December 15, 2023) - Lord Mayor Thomas Deffner (right) of Ansbach presented a certificate of service on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry to Peter Wittmann (left), the chief of operations for the Directorate of Emergency Services, at U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Ansbach's Length of Service Recognition ceremony. Col. Aaron Dixon, USAG Ansbach commander, also recognized Wittmann during the ceremony for his 25 years of service to the U.S. Army. USAG Ansbach is a U.S. Army Power Projection Platform consisting of aviation, engineering, and artillery assets spread across nine kasernes in the heart of Middle Franconia, Germany.
