Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Acting Director Daniel Lecce – one of several Defense Intelligence and Security Enterprise leaders speaking at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security ‘Stand-Down for Wellness’ Town Hall – emphasized the positive impact of a work environment that supports employees in managing stress and adversity while enabling the development of skills necessary to adapt and thrive in challenging situations.
“We have instituted a Health and Wellness program encouraging and promoting physical fitness and resiliency by allowing the maximum time for wellness activities throughout the workday,” Lecce, a retired Marine Corps major general, said at the Nov. 30 event. “We take very seriously our solemn obligation to defend our national security but equally, we take seriously the obligation to support each other – to build teams based on trust and to be the best we can be personally and professionally – body and mind.”
