U.S. Airmen with the 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron don full mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) gear during a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high yield explosive (CBRNE) exercise during the monthly unit training assembly at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Oct. 15, 2023. There are five MOPP levels to protect Airmen that each correspond to the CBRNE threat level. In addition to donning gear, the CBRNE training also simulated post attack reconnaissance, including detection, safe handling and reporting of nerve agents.
