U.S. Air Force Capt. Samuel “RaZZ” Larson, F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team commander, showcases the F-22 Raptor’s abilities during the Cleveland National Air Show at Cleveland, Ohio, Sept. 2, 2023. The mission of the F-22 Demonstration Team is to showcase the unmatched maneuverability of the Air Force's 5th generation air dominance stealth fighter, highlight the history of the Air Force's service through heritage formation flights, and interact with local communities through outreach events. The Cleveland National Air Show is one of the oldest and most established annual air shows in the country starting with the National Air Races from 1929 to 1949 and continuing with the current-day air show from 1964 to present day. The air show is held every Labor Day weekend and attracts more than 100,000 spectators to Burke Lakefront Airport located along the shores of Lake Erie. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jacob B.
