Following Kansas' first successful osprey nesting in the state's history, and in a race against time and weather, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks and Evergy replaced a flooding-susceptible osprey nest at Perry Lake, Kansas on October 31, 2023.
