Joint Task Force-Red Hill (JTF-RH) access point team members, U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Samuel Yarbrough Jr. and U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Lerishane Enriquez, ensure 100 percent accountability of personnel at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility, Halawa, Hawaii, Dec. 4, 2023. The Airmen have actively served in various capacities throughout the State of Hawaii in back-to-back activations. After their involvement in responding to the severe wildfires in Lahaina, Maui, in September, they voluntarily undertook roles in the defueling mission of the RHBFSF with Joint Task Force-Red Hill, manning entry control points since October. JTF-RH is committed to working with regulators and government stakeholders to ensure Red Hill is defueled safely, expeditiously, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
