230408-N-DP708-1001 SAN DIEGO (Apr. 08, 2023) Deployment Challenge coin depicting Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). This was created for as a potential deployment coin design and has a combination of vector art and graphic illustration. The wings, eagle head and body of the coin were created in Adobe Illustrator and the graphic elements on the inside of the coin (front and back) were colored in photoshop.
