I007 Identity Design
230322-N-DP708-1001 SAN DIEGO (Nov. 23, 2022) Patch design for uniforms aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). This was designed as a potential patch that could be created for Sailors to wear on their uniforms. This design was created in Adobe Illustrator as a vector illustration and finished with photoshop for color and extra graphic elements. The intent is to show the Coronado Bridge, which is an iconic structure that everyone sees as they enter the bay or enter/leave Coronado Island, which is where Naval Air Station North Island is located. It includes the 70, and the Flying V, both important parts of Vinson's branding. (U.S. Navy Graphic Illustration by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Analice Baker)
