U.S. Air Force Gen. Mark Kelly, commander of Air Combat Command, shakes hands with Airmen upon his arrival to the 609th Air Operations to get a first-hand look at the AOC’s mission as part of the COMACC’s visit to Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central) units Jan. 4, 2023, at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. During his visit, Kelly visited Airmen at the 9th AF (AFCENT) Headquarters, U.S. Army Central Headquarters, and 609th Air Operations Center and recognized them for their contributions to the ACC and U.S. Central Command mission.
