    U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Rafael Rodriguez, Command Senior Enlisted Leader, U.S. Southern Command, is greeted by Brig. Gen. Omar Randall, deputy commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces South, during his visit to the Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, Louisiana, Jan. 8, 2024. During his visit, Rodriguez discussed the Marine Forces South mission as a part of SOUTHCOM during a command brief, attended a retirement ceremony and toured the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School. SOUTHCOM is a joint command comprised of more than 1,200 military and civilian personnel representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and several other federal agencies.
