U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jayden Garland, correction specialist, Provost Marshal’s Office, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS), Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, executes a shoulder throw on Cpl. This three week course consisted of many hours of physical training, hand-to-hand combat, grappling, weapons sparring training and memorizing the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program syllabus with the intent to certify Marines to instruct and monitor the various belts levels within the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
