240110-N-CD319-1016 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 10, 2024) Machinist’s Mate 1st Class Jasper Graham, from Baltimore, Maryland, participates in a freshwater wash down aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS William P. Lawrence (DDG 110). Freshwater wash downs ensure all exterior spaces are rinsed to prevent salt corrosion. Lawrence is assigned to Carrier Strike Group 1 and deployed to U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
