Shane McDaniel, assigned to Bastion Company, 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade, conducts an after action report during North and West Africa Response Force (NARF) training at Aviano Air Base, Italy on Dec. 19, 2023. With a focus on Africa, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), provides U.S. Africa Command with a joint task force headquarters capability and the NARF, poised to respond to any contingency to protect U.S. persons, facilities and interests.
