U.S. Marines and Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais (Brazilian Marines) look at recruit training booklets during U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South’s Brazilian Recruit Assessment Jan. 17, 2024, at the Almirante Milcíades Portela Alves Instruction Center, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Marines from the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, assessed the training processes and infrastructure of the Brazilian Marine Corps to aid in Brazil’s first group of female Marine Corps recruits.
