NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Nov. 17, 2023) – U.S. Naval Aircrewman Operator 1st Class Alexander McGinley, a Sailor attached to Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, the ‘Grey Knights,’ speaks with sailors of the 30th Kaszubski Air Squadron of the Navy inside a P-8A Poseidon at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Italy, Nov. 17, 2023. The 30th Kaszubski Air Squadron of the Polish Navy, from 44 Navy Air Base Siemirowice, is deployed to NAS Sigonella and came to visit VP-46 to discuss system capabilities, mission and partnership. VP-46 is currently deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet are of operation in support of naval operations to maintain maritime security and stability, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
