U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Timothy R. Kronjaeger, the commanding officer of 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and Lt. Col. Jeremy A. Oberdove, the light armored capabilities integration officer with Combat Development and Integration, carry a wreath during a command post dedication ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 19, 2024. The battalion dedicated the command post to honor Lance Cpl. Shane R. Martin, who was killed in action July 29, 2010, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
