Hanni Marchuk uses a forklift to move pallets out of a cold storage warehouse at Fort Greely, Alaska, in preparation for a construction project to convert the warehouse to a heated facility. Marchuk has served as an Army civilian employee for 14 years, plus another eight years as a contractor.
