Minnesota National Guard, Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Xcel Energy and other interagency partners, participated in a cyber event response exercise at the emergency management training center at Camp Ripley, Minn., Jan. 10, 2013. The exercise provided participants with an opportunity to evaluate current response concepts, plans and capabilities for a response to a cyber event both natural and as an act of terrorism or crime. This discussion-based exercise was the first of 10 exercises which will culminate in the Vigilant Guard exercise planned for 2015. (U.S. Army photo photo by 1st Lt. Blake St. Sauver)
