U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jonathan Espinoza, 802nd Security Forces Squadron armorer (center), and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Darius Robinson, 802nd Security Forces Squadron unit deployment manager, teach Leadership San Antonio members about various weapons and equipment used by Air Force Defenders at Chapman Training Annex, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Jan. 18, 2024. Items on display included but were not limited to: a full breaching kit, bolt cutters, a Halligan tool and an axe, an assortment of weapons, including the M4A1 rifle, M18 pistol, and M249B Squad Automatic Weapon and gear worn by service members like the battle belt, helmet and night vision goggles. Senior military leaders on JBSA provided San Antonio community leaders with an interactive military experience to give them a better understanding of the JBSA mission.
